STRICKSPOT: A Minute Between the Hour
http://adamstrick.blogspot.com/2012/08/a-minute-between-hour.html
Thursday, August 16, 2012. A Minute Between the Hour. Last weekend I participated in the vimeo weekend challenge to go out and shoot some footage during the first and last hour of sunset during the day, also known as the magic hour. It's always nice to have some sort of challenge that gives you something to focus on and learn from. The video had to be edited down to one minute or less. Here's my completed entry:. Yeah, the weather is definitely a nice treat here. I do wish I had a more consistent view from this vantage point though! 3/17/11, 12:29 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, March 21, 2011. How To Train Your Dragon interview with AM. About 6 months ago four other animators and myself took part in an interview with Animation Mentor to talk about working on How To Train Your Dragon. They shot two lengthy interviews, one with two animators up at PDI and another here in Burbank with three of us from the Glendale campus. The first video, A Toothless Dinner. I'd like to thank AM for asking me to be a part of it and hope to see them continue these interviews with others!

Monday, May 12, 2014. The Sketchbook: An Animated Short Film. My friend and coworker, Chris Williams, just launched a project on kickstarter for an animated short. I filmed, recorded audio, mixed and edited the video for the pitch. It's going to have a great style and even more important a great story! If it's something you're interested in seeing completed, donate! You can also help spread the word by sharing the link to his kickstarter page! Check it out here: The Sketchbook Kickstarter Page. STRICKSPOT: Spielberg One Shot Takes

Friday, May 09, 2014. Spielberg One Shot Takes. I've always enjoyed studying and breaking down Spielberg's camera work. He does a great job creating new compositions within his long one shot takes by repositioning the cameras, the characters, or both at once rather than following them around with a steadicam. This is a cool video collection of some of those shots. The Spielberg Oner - One Scene, One Shot. Here are some of the examples to watch in real time! The Spielberg Oner - Twelve Quick Examples.

Friday, July 29, 2011. Got this in the analog inbox on Monday. I was going to share an electric bill but second guessing myself, I went with this instead. Starting in September I'm going to be heading to Blue Sky for temp work on Ice Age:Continental Drift! Between meeting new people, awesome animation, and exploring the town I'm sure the time is going to fly by. Now I just need to find out who's playing poker and where. Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
