Casey's Sports Climate: So long Jimmy
http://caseyknopik.blogspot.com/2008/01/so-long-jimmy.html
Friday, January 25, 2008. Well, Jim Zorn is leaving Seattle. The team that he helped establish by being the teams first quarterback. And then taking over as the quarterbacks coach. As the quarterbacks coach he took a cocky, big headed quarterback named Matthew Hasselbeck and transformed him into the best quarterback in Seattle Seahawks history. Zorn was very nitpicky about everything that Hasselbeck did. Even benching him infavor of Trent Dilfer. Of course they still need to hire a head coach.

Casey's Sports Climate: The Wii Workout
http://caseyknopik.blogspot.com/2008/02/wii-workout.html
Sunday, February 3, 2008. Incase you haven't heard, the Wii is the hottest thing to happen to videogame systems since Pong. Well, I joined the craze of Wii fanatics and purchased one a while back. I actually had to fend off 14 kids, 7 moms, 2 grandpas and a goat on my way to the cash register at Toys R Us. For some reason I have always enjoyed track and field. So when Nintendo came out with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, I knew I had to get it. Little did I know what I was getting into. I warm up ...

Casey's Sports Climate: AAFL = spring football = good
http://caseyknopik.blogspot.com/2008/01/aafl-spring-football-good.html
Monday, January 28, 2008. AAFL = spring football = good. Maybe you missed it, but there is a new professional football league in town. No, it's not going to try and rival the National Football League, instead it is going to be more like a professional version of college football. The All American Football League. Has a plan, and former NCAA President Cedric Dempsey, is at the helm of this endeavor. In this league all players must have graduated from college as well as used up all years of eligibility.

Casey's Sports Climate: The Empire Strikes Back (for the 4th time)
http://caseyknopik.blogspot.com/2008/02/empire-strikes-back-for-4th-time.html
Sunday, February 3, 2008. The Empire Strikes Back (for the 4th time). Tomorrow is the day. The Super Bowl is finally here. The biggest football game of the year is even bigger this year as the New England Patriots look to become the second team in NFL history to have a perfect regular season and then win the Super Bowl. They also would become the first NFL team to go 19-0. 8211; Evil Anakin Skywalker (pre Darth Vader) I say pre Darth Vader because Darth Vader was such a badass, while everybody hated Anak...

Casey's Sports Climate: Where has all the football gone?
http://caseyknopik.blogspot.com/2008/01/where-has-all-football-gone.html
Sunday, January 27, 2008. Where has all the football gone? I can't believe the football season is already over. Today didn't seem like Sunday at all. Instead of my usual routine of waking up, watching pregame stuff and then watching three football games until 10 o'clock at night, I didn't know what to do with myself. Sure I could have worked on homework. Sure I could have cleaned the house. Sure I could have washed the car (cause it was over 50 degrees today). But I did none of those things. Great acting...

Casey's Sports Climate: No Love for Love
http://caseyknopik.blogspot.com/2008/01/no-love-for-love.html
Tuesday, January 29, 2008. No Love for Love. Last week, when UCLA Bruins freshman forward Kevin Love took the court against the Oregon Ducks, he was not welcome. Love decided not to go to Oregon and opted instead for UCLA. He was met with more than his share of boos. In honor of Love, here are some of the worst booings ever:. The Philadelphia Eagle fans when Donovan McNabb was drafted during the 1999 NFL Draft. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? New York Jets fans when Chad Pennington got hurt.
