Friday, August 17, 2007. Fitness and Baby - but not together! I think it is beyond time we updated this thing! He's working his tail off, and I couldn't be prouder. =). On the flip side, not including the pain of contractions, I had an awesome 2 days. My grama. All in all we had a great couple days together and will have stories for a really long time! Tuesday, May 22, 2007. We now have a dog. The one J made fun of so much on a previous post, actually. Funny story - he loves the sweet little thing! She's a 2 year old Chihuahua, weighs only 6 lbs, is potty trained and kennel trained, loves the kiddos, and doesn't make a sound. Ever. Life is good! This kid cracks me up - who knew such a silly little boy could capture my heart just by opening his mouth . literally! Just hanging out - making his birthday list out of the Toys R Us catalog!

Sunday, December 21, 2008. What an awesome lazy day we had today! It was too cold to go anywhere, and we've been so busy lately, so we just bundled up and hung out all day today. We played games and did puzzles this morning, made pizza for lunch, and watched the Chiefs lose. We seriously finally gave the kids baths at 5pm and put them in new pajamas, as they were still in their jammies from last night! Don't worry, we don't make a habit of this, but it was just that kind of day. NASTY little dog .

This dreary weather is really starting to take its toll on the kiddos - they've all been a little on the wild side lately from being so cooped up inside, so I decided yesterday to just let them go to town and get some of that energy out! Many of my friends in my group were jealous of me and thought that this was some sort of vacation and that I was so lucky to be relocated to the nice city of Windhoek. While I might have had hot water and daily showers to use, that was the only lucky part of my relocation. I was forced to spend money that I didn’t really have on food that I didn’t really want.
