My friend Megan (center) runs a home for street boys that is located just outside of Kigali. We got the opportunity to visit the home and meet the kids on easter sunday. Sunday, May 3, 2009. Burundi rebels starting to disarm. Burundi's army will absorb more than 2,000 former rebels. African Union troops are physically disarming 21,000 fighters from Burundi's last active rebel group, the Forces for National Liberation (FNL). . Sunday, April 11, 2010. I realized that it has been over a month since I last posted anything. . I'm still alive and doing fine, just plugging away. . It's hard to believe that it is already April. There is a strange feeling of the year flying by but also going really slowly at the same time.
