Saturday, September 27, 2008. Brandt is the Scout Master in our ward so he gets to go on the monthly campouts with the young men. This month they invited the families to come out and enjoy dinner and a campfire. Since the campsite was only 2 miles from our home Avery and I decided to attend. This was Avery's first experience with fire and she seemed to enjoy it. I do think all the excitment wore her out! Sunday, September 21, 2008. The Oklahoma State Fair. My Cute Little Girl. Sunday, May 31, 2009. We have tried to stick to a night-time routine with Avery, and this may be proof that it is working. It's so amazing how fast children can learn. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. We finally turned our guest bedroom into a playroom. I was getting sick of having toys all over the family room. I saw a toy shelf in Pottery Barn Kids that I really wanted but of course we could not afford it so, Brandt built it for me. It was a bit more complicated than expected but it turned out great.

Sunday, June 7, 2009. Can you believe it, Avery turned one on June 7 (Yes I am a bit behind on my blogging)! Avery at a year is running all over the house, using everything as a telephone and telling it "hi," and learning new words every day. She is a chatterbox. Oh well, what do you do? Getting sick of all the maternity stuff I have. I quit buying maternity stuff and started buying longer shirts from normal stores. Maxi dresses are super comfy! Whoever said that you are the most tired in your first trimester was smokin pot! I am SOOOOO tired all the time still, all I want is to sleep!
