I'm glad I've changed for the most part, but it also means that our relationship is different now. Sunday, April 11, 2010. The Proposal That Isn't Happening. Isn't that the most important thing to him?

Ramblings: Moving Right Along

Louisiana, United States. View my complete profile. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. It seems like the past few months have FLOWN by. I mean I blinked and it's October. Ever since the move and Grayson (my fiance) starting school here, we have both been incredulous at how quickly the weeks past. I was working part time as a nanny here until the hours kept shrinking. This is a typical problem when you take a nanny position that's part-time- it ends up being. Girl whose little boy I had been keeping two days a week.

And plus, I'm not in that woman's shoes, I can't feel how horrible it feels to carry a baby that is there because I was raped. So I'm sick of these judgemental Republicans even discussing it if it's never happened to them before. Then the mosque. What, Republicans believe in freedom, huh? I don't think so, and it's very hard for me to understand how anyone could think so. Furthe...

Louisiana, United States. View my complete profile. Sunday, January 2, 2011. One night without hearing police sirens outside. That's what I would like. I hate New Orleans. And I'm so sick of hearing these New Orleans people who love this place interrogate me defensively whenever I say that I don't like it here after they ask me if I do. I say, "Well, it's been a culture shock to say the least." They say, "What? Something you don't see much of here at all) and people who know etiquitte and are not rough a...

Louisiana, United States. View my complete profile. Thursday, February 18, 2010. If Patrick had lived, he would be 25 today. I was listening to a song in my car today and I was thinking how it perfectly expressed the feelings I have about his suicide. The song was "How To Save A Life" by The Fray, in case you wondered. Just then, I glanced at my phone and tears showed up unannounced when I realized today is his birthday. I don't even know why I ask, because I could never get rid of it, regardless.

I always felt lucky to have him, never really wondered if the good outweighed the bad with him. Maybe it's that my perspective has shifted now that I am seriously looking at him as a future husband vs. a boyfriend. I mean expectations definitely change then, at least they have for me. Does this happen with everyone? The World of Me.

Louisiana, United States. View my complete profile. Sunday, January 31, 2010. For years I've had patience with these married-with-kids friends, and I guess what I mean is that these days that patience is dwindling rapidly. I mean, find a time to call me when your kids are in bed or something, that's how I feel. And for God's sake, please don't start talking to me about friends. Of your kids and what that kid. Interested in your kid's friend. I'm living in the. Now and I'm happy about it. I have a gre...

Louisiana, United States. View my complete profile. Studying for the GRE. Wrong Turn: The Big NO. Monday, August 16, 2010. Wrong Turn: The Big NO. Just moved to Louisiana so my fiance can go to law school (he got a great scholarship here and both of us agreed this was the place of all the places he got a scholarship at to go). Getting used to it- it's dirtier than Alabama. A lot. Especially this city after the hurricane (or maybe it's always been this way? What is making me go crazy are the amount of iss...
