Braymere Custom Saddlery: Bareback jumping, not puissance
http://braymere.blogspot.com/2012/01/bareback-jumping-not-puissance.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Bareback jumping, not puissance. I learned to ride at Eaton Canyon Riding Club. In Pasadena, California. ECRC in the early 1980's was a slightly rundown but still thriving public boarding stable. It had an active lesson program, and several times a year the trainers organized schooling shows for boarders and students. I loved. Finally, in June 1983, I got my chance. I was taking care of Cinnamon. And that is the closest I will probably ever get to Bareback Puissance! Happy, h...
Braymere Custom Saddlery: Post weekend show report
http://braymere.blogspot.com/2015/05/post-weekend-show-report_14.html
Thursday, May 14, 2015. Post weekend show report. Since I'm travelling today, this post is an "almost wordless" style show report from tackmaker, Maddy Hinman of Lazy H Custom Tack. She writes: These photos were taken at Models in the Sunshine (MIT), which is a super fun show hosted by Jackie Moore and Cindy Dilks in Ocala, Florida. I especially enjoyed meeting fellow tackmakers, Emma Van Riper, Becky McCorkendale and Rachel Fail. Hope you enjoy the performance photos! Entry and tack by Rachel Fail.
Braymere Custom Saddlery: Show ribbons
http://braymere.blogspot.com/2012/08/show-ribbons.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2012. When I was ten and a half years old, I started taking riding lessons at Eaton Canyon Riding Club. Despite it's rather exclusive sounding name, this was a large, slightly run down, public riding stable with an active lesson program. Every six months or so, the stable would host a schooling show for boarders and students. Naturally, I wanted to participate. Fortunately, I did improve over time. And although I desperately wanted to win a blue ribbon just one time. Time has not be...
Braymere Custom Saddlery: Thirteen
http://braymere.blogspot.com/2013/04/thirteen.html
Saturday, April 27, 2013. Today is Ryan's thirteenth birthday. It's been a long. Time since I turned thirteen, but I still have very specific memories of that day. One of my gifts was an additional riding lesson on my birthday. Riding twice in one week was a rare treat, and I was very excited about the prospect of spending the afternoon at the barn. Was supposed to be the center of attention! Exclusive Native, sire of Affirmed, Genuine Risk and. I wish I could tell you that we had a great lesson, but tha...
Braymere Custom Saddlery: Models in the Mountains recap
http://braymere.blogspot.com/2015/05/models-in-mountains-preview.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. Models in the Mountains recap. I am still in California and haven't had a chance to edit my pictures from this weekend's Models in the Mountains. Usually no photos means no post, but fortunately, the event hostess, Corina Roberts, is an exceptional photographer. She has graciously provided me with enough photos to fill a dozen posts, including this one. Thanks, Corina! Mountain miles away from the nearest town. There is no cell phone service and no wifi. Rosettes for the champions!

Shady Creek Farm: 2014: Year In Review
http://shadycreekhorses.blogspot.com/2014/12/2014-year-in-review.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. 2014: Year In Review. 2014 is coming to a close, so it's time to look back at the year in review! At the end of 2013, I did a year in review post. 2013 was a pretty good year for me as it was my first year back in the hobby after a long break. But, I predicted that 2014 would be an even better year - and I think I was right! While I only managed to go to two shows in 2013, I went to seven (or eight, since one was a double show). Big Orange Bash in Knoxville, TN on June 7th.

Monday, August 27, 2012. Collegiate Saddle Arrived Today! The Collegiate saddle arrived today, just in time for the rain! Isaac is supposed to dump a lot of rain on us for the next couple of days, so I'll try to be patient! Here are photos of the saddle. It looked a lot darker in the previous post. I used the flash, so maybe that made it look different. The saddle is lovely -. The ladies at Trumbull Mountain have been amazing to work with, too! He even rode her bareback on Sunday! ColorWash Studios: Arabian Horse Show Halter
http://colorwashstudios.blogspot.com/2015/07/arabian-horse-show-halter.html
Model and Real Horses. Written by an aspiring *cough*failing*cough* tackmaker and customizer. Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Arabian Horse Show Halter. I present: The Arabian Horse Show Halter post. Five months late. Um, sorry? I could blame school, my (non-existent) social life, art, writer's block. Actually, the last one did play into it a lot. But that's a post for another day. Or never. Anywho, onto the point of the post. Halter classes at the Arabian Horse Show! After all the horses were inspected, there wa...
Paloose Arts Daily Spots
http://palooseartsspots.blogspot.com/2013/09/moving-proved-beyond-busy.html
Monday, September 16, 2013. Moving proved beyond busy. So much remodeling to do, fences to build, unpacking, setting up the studio and casting room again, plus getting my personal part of the house in order was a daunting task. Dealing with that and the leg injury was the real challenge. It created a lot of problems for sure. I always try to post when I can but the Paloose Arts Fan Page on Facebook seems to take up most my time. Make sure you visit if you're on there! Would love to hear from ya. 9182013 ...

Amalltea's Custome Equain Art Horse
http://amallteascustomeequianarthorse.blogspot.com/2015/09/witajcie-dzisiaj-dam-wam-zdjecia-z.html
Amalltea's Custome Equain Art Horse. A nóż znajdzie nowy domek ;). A visit to Shield rock.
Studio Sommer: January 2013

Saturday, January 12, 2013. Two New Ornaments for 2012. One of the "regular" projects that I do commercially is the annual "Beautiful Breeds" Ornaments. The Holiday line is one of the often-overlooked areas of Breyer's product line to collectors. I actually had no idea HOW overlooked until I began to look online for any information about it! Breyer started their annual Christmas line in 1999. As the line was getting established, they asked me if I had any ideas for products? Many breeds followed and I ha...

Braymere Custom Saddlery
Tuesday, February 27, 2018. They did it, part two. As a group, the NaMoPaiMo painters have now finished more than two hundred and fifty horses. I had so much fun compiling yesterday's "They did it" post, I decided to do it again. Here's twelve more members of the class of 2018, as described by their creators. Ola Noga: I DID IT! Meet Alvorado Valiente, a custom Breyer Valegro. Alvorado is my first resculpted horse, and he is my first bay. I am really proud that I managed to finish him on time! A little a...
