Pittsburgh Food Scene: December 2011
http://pittsburghfoodscene.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 22, 2011. China Star in the North Hills area. I tried China Star for the first time. My last job was close to the restaurant, but I never had the opportunity to go. Now that I've been there, I fully regret not going there during my last job. The Szechuan cuisine was amazing, and I got to try ox tongue. Check out the video. Posted by Pittsburgh Food Scene. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Warrior Dash and Turkey Legs. This past Sunday I participated in the Warrior Dash. Awesome medal I got just for finishing the race. My two friends and I muddy. Runners awaiting the results. Runners just hanging out. My results. I actually finished below 50 minutes, which was more than. I could ask for. Awaiting for the dreaded shower. Almost to the shower. It was mighty cold. Caterers with the turkey legs. This big to be honest. I am pretty sure this isn't natural or organic.

Pittsburgh Food Scene: June 2012
http://pittsburghfoodscene.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. A few years back, I was watching an episode of The Office where Michael Scott and his crazy girlfriend Jan hosted a dinner party for some of the employees of Dunder Mifflin. Well into the party, the topic of dinner finally came about. Jan said to everyone that she is cooking ossobuco and here is in my opinion one of the best parts of the episode:. Pam Beesly: Oh, I- I can help, starting dinner if you need it. Took a picture while the shanks are still being braised. For the sa...

Pittsburgh Food Scene: Costa Rica Day 1(Flying)
http://pittsburghfoodscene.blogspot.com/2012/09/costa-rica-day-1flying.html
Thursday, September 27, 2012. Costa Rica Day 1(Flying). We landed at the airport, and it was fairly unmemorable. I think mainly because I wasn't able to step on Texas ground. That would be an important moment in my life. One minor highlight though was seeing people drinking at the bar at 8:00 AM. They are definitely off to a good start for the day. Friday, October 28, 2011. Dormont Food Tour Experience. All in all, I would rate the tour 9.5 out of 10 only because I didn't like the grocery bags. Okay, I'm being a jerk. I'll give it a 9.7 out of 10. Happy now, blog readers? I also want to give mad props to my friend Dave who helped me with this project by being my camera guy. Burgh Bits and Bites. Raw Pure Carrot and Ginger Juice. Carrot and Ginger Juice - Energizing! Juice is not REAL juice unless you either use a juicer or your mouth to juice vegetables and fruits. Everything in the store sold as "juice" is not alive - it is dead and pasteurized, as well as being loaded with sugar and other unnecessary ingredients. The health benefits of drinking raw carrot juice are immense for both men and women. The carrot contains so many different vitamins and minerals. April 28, 2014 at 3:51 PM. We do an a...

Monday, September 3, 2012. Little Bangkok at the Strip District and a small story about Paula Deen. Yesterday I went to the Strip District to pick up some ingredients for a Korean dish I want to make this week. Before I went to Lotus grocery store, I decided to head down to Little Bangkok. All in all I enjoyed my experience at Little Bangkok. You can't go wrong with authentic Thai food and a Paula Deen story. Posted by Pittsburgh Food Scene. Labels: Eating Out - Thai.
