We have had our ups and downs but the last few days Bruce has improved. On 6/27 Bruce had two chemo drugs. He did have some side affects but not nearly as bad. This Monday the 10th he has his second treatment with only the targeted drug to the cancer cells, and then in 2 more weeks he has both drugs again. We are particularly thankfu...

Bruce was born in Lewiston, Idaho, to Pauline and James Cairns. He graduated from the University of Idaho, and received his PhD in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley. He had a 40 year career in the semiconductor industry, working for Fairchild Semiconductor, National Semiconductor, and Watkins Johnson. His family will miss him immensely!
