Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Sarah turned 8 in December and it was a fun birthday! She started her day getting a present before school. She has been wanting purple shoes and we found some that we all liked. Later that evening we met some of her cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Smyth for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, one of Sarah's favorites. Sarah and her brothers. Ryder and Jack. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Taking our kids to the beach is one of the most relaxing activities we do as a family. They are so good and they just don't get bored. On Monday the boys took their collections of shells and rocks around to our neighbors to show them their "discoveries.". Sunday, April 19, 2009. Spring Break and a visit to Oregon. Easter Eggs. Sunday, July 19, 2009. The 3rd and 4th of July. We spent our Fourth of July weekend house sitting/dog watching/garden-watering for Ryan's sister while her family was out of town. My brother-in-law who took this photo said there was a snowflake that covered Ryan's face, I said no big deal, thinking it was just a tiny speck.I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this.
