Sunday, June 27, 2010. I made this for my in-laws for brunch this morning, and it was a big hit. Could easily pass for a dessert, also. 1 loaf Greenlee's Best Cinnamon Bread. 1 c 1% milk*. 189; c half and half*. 1 ½ tsp salt. 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract. 2 Tbsp Grand Marnier. 2 Tbsp sliced almonds. 2 ½ c sliced strawberries. 188; c powdered sugar. Or just use 1 ½ cups whole milk. Preheat oven to 350. Cut into 10 pieces, and serve each slice with a little sifted powdered sugar and some sliced strawberries.

Monday, January 29, 2007. Yum Yum Chicken Enchilada Casserole. Anyhoo, I thought about making chicken enchiladas but then discovered that I didn't have enough tortillas to make enough for us all. So Sister and I improvised, and came up with the NOT DIET-FRIENDLY Yum Yum Chicken Enchilada Casserole. 2 cooked chicken breasts. 1 can cream of chicken soup. 1 small can chipotle chiles in adobo sauce. 1 jar enchilada sauce. 2-3 tortillas, cut into strips. Sour cream (optional - for serving).

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I don't get it. What is the big deal with the Apple iPad? It just seems to be a bigger iTouch. It doesn't even seem to run regular programs (you know, desktop applications, like MS Office or whatever the Mac equivalent is), so why would you get this to replace your laptop? April 10, 2011. On New Years Day, I woke up and brushed my teeth in the bathroom like I do every morning. As I leaned over the sink to spit, something caught my eye in the mirror. Not something, but. Here is a new corn recipe I threw together the other night, that I will be for sure making over and over again. 4 ears of Sweet Corn, on the cob. 1 large Red Bell Pepper, cut in half, seeds removed. 1 medium Red Onion, cut in half. 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped. There will be lots of painting, including all the kitchen cabinets, but we are very excited. And, it is very cloes to TJ Maxx, which is fabulous.
