The Lance Project was founded in 2006 to assist people with their legal problems. The program is named after a young man who was charged and found guilty of a crime he didnt commit. . Because of the California Three Strikes Law and mandatory sentencing he received two strikes along with his jail time. The ordeal inspired his father and mother to start the program. . Beth Holland is a former actress and singer, holding degrees in Voice Performance, Acting and later, a faculty member in the Department of Drama and Theatre at her alma mater, the University of Georgia.
