Terri's Family Blog: November 2010
http://tcfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
The trials and tribulations of our family. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Here I am on Thanksgiving Eve procrastinating my cooking duties. Not that I mind the cooking. Actually, I love it. The turkey is in the refrigerator awaiting the big day. The pies (store bought) are tucked away. The rest? Well, I'm pretty sure I purchased everything I need to make the soup, dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and vegetables. I'm not sure why, but I'm just not ready to jump in yet. Sunday, November 21, 2010.
Terri's Family Blog: No Excuses

The trials and tribulations of our family. Thursday, October 18, 2012. May of 2011, huh? Guess I'm a bit overdue for a blog post. Shall I use the "I've been busy" excuse? No excuses here. It's just the way I am. Love me, or . well, whatever. Too many things happening for me to choose just one to blog about, so I'll stick to my pictures. Here are a few from one of my late September trips to the organic farm (CSA). The sunflowers were plentiful. Adela especially loved the snapdragons. And on the other side...

The trials and tribulations of our family. Thursday, August 27, 2009. I feel like the boy who cried wolf. I'm sure there's a better analogy, but I can't think of it this late at night. I'll just say that we're almost almost done. And I have lots of pictures. I'll start at the end. Today was shower door installation day. Here's the new bathroom's shower door. We also got our final inspection today. I thought all the paperwork looked nice on our new kitchen floor. Here is a look down the stairs:. When we u...

The trials and tribulations of our family. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. First Day of Summer Vacation! As you can see from the title of my entry I have switched gears a bit today. This is the first day of the official summer break - no school until after Labor Day. Given the gloomy weather, the kids have spent the day watching TV, playing games on the computer and on the Wii and driving me crazy. But not as crazy as this renovation. The roof almost done. Got new windows and our 3 section slider! I feel like ...

Terri's Family Blog: A High Time on Mother's Day
http://tcfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/high-time-on-mothers-day.html
The trials and tribulations of our family. Sunday, May 29, 2011. A High Time on Mother's Day. OK, so I'm a little behind on my holidays. I know it's Memorial Day but I'm just getting around to sharing my pictures from Mother's Day. I decided that I would plan to take the kids out of school one nice spring day, take the train in and check it out. When that plan didn't work, I figured we try for the week of spring break before my in-laws arrived. That plan, too, was foiled. This was the first big building ...

The trials and tribulations of our family. Friday, May 29, 2009. Can you tell I'm getting eager for the "before" and "after" photos? Right now I'll have to settle for the "before" and "during" shots. Yesterday was framing day. The crew worked from 8 to 4 framing all of our second floor rooms and closets (3 big ones! While half the crew worked upstairs, the other guys spent the entire day ripping out our foyer floor. Who knew that such a small area could be such a big job! This weekend we will be busy rel...

The trials and tribulations of our family. Monday, November 11, 2013. Grand Canyon Vacation Wrap Up. Looks like I'm back to the blog. After my brief dalliance with Google Sites as a vehicle to journal our family vacation to the Grand Canyon, I have concluded that for sharing life events (and my thoughts) with my friends and family, the blog is best. I hope you enjoy some of these photos from our trip. And feel free to comment! Ah, that's more like it! Yup, another sunrise. Grand Canyon Vacation Wrap Up.

The trials and tribulations of our family. Saturday, July 25, 2009. Balloons and Broken Glass. I must say that kitchen renovations are not good for glassware. At least mine isn't. Here is my favorite photo of the kids watching the balloons fly over. Here's a picture of the balloon as it was coming down (I had to get another balloon picture with our new house). Here's the new fridge. Make sure you check out the gorgeous crown molding above the cabinets! Tuesday, July 21, 2009. And along the front wall....

Bread for My Journey | Providing spiritual wisdom to nourish our souls
Bread for My Journey. Providing spiritual wisdom to nourish our souls. Should We Accept Good Things from the Evil One? May 21, 2012. Today, we live in a world in which things seem to go wrong for most people including Christians. Health fails, marriage is besieged with problems, we fail our examinations, careers are unfulfilling and promotions delayed, our businesses collapse, just to mention a few. Our businesses may collapse. He still goes to church and I don’t think God is offended in any way by what ...
