My time in Berlin has come to an end at least for now but since I still have a few weeks left of my sabbatical, I thought I’d keep posting until the sabbatical officially ends. And why not, since it’s quite pleasant now in Southern Finland! The summer is on its way, it’s very bright and green, birds are singing everywhere, and people are waiting for summer holidays.

Herkkuja, hepeniä ja muita väkerryksiä. Leivontaa, ruokaa, käsitöitä ja kokemuksia. Perjantai 14. elokuuta 2015. No joo. nimi nyt on mitä on. Mutta aurinkoinen siksi, että pastassa oli reilusti aurinkokuivattua tomaattia. Ja tietysti avokadoa, valkosipulia ja chiliä. Oli kerrassaan herkullista. Ohje on vähän viitteellinen, sillä enhän minä mitään määriä muistiin kirjoittanut. Pastaa (esim. farfalle)sen verran kuin 2 henkeä syö. N 0,5 dl silputtua aurinkokuivattua tomaattia. Persiljaa, silputtuna noin 1 dl.

Pullapohjainen mustikkapiirakka on sellainen herkku josta tulee lapsuus ja mummin leipomukset mieleen. Isoäiti kuitenkin sai keliakiadiagnoosin "vanhoilla päivillään", joten sellaista perinteistä mustikkapiirakkaa ei ole kukaan pitkiin aikoihin leiponut. Nyt kokeilin sitten tehdä kyseisen leivonnaisen gluteenittomana ja laktoosittomana jotta sitä voisivat kaikki ruokarajoitteisetkin ...Kauli...

Herkkuja, hepeniä ja muita väkerryksiä. Leivontaa, ruokaa, käsitöitä ja kokemuksia. Maanantai 10. elokuuta 2015. Vatkaa rasva ja sokeri vaahdoksi. Lisää muna vatkaten ja lisää sitten vehnäjauho-leivinjauheseos. Levitä taikina voidellun irtopohjavuoan pohjalle ja reunoille. Laita vuoka jääkaappiin jähmettymään täytteen teon ajaksi. N 2dl raparperia (pilkottuna). Laita rapaprperi, vesi, fariinisokeri ja kaneli kattilaan ja keitä miedolla lämmöllä kunnes raparperi pehmenee. Nosta liedeltä ja anna jäähtyä.

Samalla ohjeella voisi hyvin tehdä kakun muistakin marjoista tai lisätä vaikka omenakuutioita. Ja mausteeksi inkivääriä, muskottia, lakritsijauhetta tai vaikka kardemummaa. Marjat "laskeutuvat" kakun sisään kuten kuvasta näkyy. 0,5 dl sokeria. 2,5 dl vehnäjauhoja. 0,5 dl vettä. Vatkaa kananmunat ja sokerit vaahdoksi. NiiNam - nam nam.

Herkkuja, hepeniä ja muita väkerryksiä. Leivontaa, ruokaa, käsitöitä ja kokemuksia. Torstai 2. heinäkuuta 2015. Josta voi käydä katsomassa myös kuvia. 2 kovaksi keitettyä kananmunaa. Laita jäähtyneet kananmunat ja avokado kulhoon ja pilko haarukalla mukavasti sattumia sisältäväksi tahnaksi. Tavoite ei siis ole saada täytteestä sileää, joten sellainen karkean munavoin tyyppinen koostumus on hyvä. Mausta sinapilla, sitruunamehulla ja pippurilla. Maista ja lisää tarvittaessa mausteita ja/tai suolaa.
