The official launch of the Breastfeeding Manifesto was held in the House of Commons on 16 May 2007 during National Breastfeeding Week. In the build up to the launch thousands of supporters across the country sent in specially-designed postcards urging MPs to add their name in support of the Manifesto. It catalysed support within Parliament and led to well over a third of all MPs pledging their backing. Don't forget to check the parliamentary supporters. The birth of the idea. How can you help.
