I have tried not to make this disease a setback in my life, but that is easier said than done on some days. I believe that a cure to this disease is on the horizon in the future. The way that this was done on-stage was actually very clever. Siobhan, Christopher’s teacher from his special needs school, narrated his story from the book that he had written, at the same time as the actual acting of his story was taking place. I try to wake up everyday with the attitude that things could be worse. I know that there are other people that have MS symptoms WAY worse than mine. And God knows, my symptoms are not all that “bad” when you get right down to brass tacks. So I try desperately to be grateful for what ability I do have. I just want things to be not so hard.
