I have been painting since 1978. I have mostly painted landscapes or still lifes. In 2007, I did a month-long residency at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. During that residency I began painting abstractions. I continued painting abstractions until 2011 when I began painting from life again, but with a somewhat looser approach.
