Thursday, November 29, 2012. I am SOOO bad at remembering to take pictures! I take lots of pictures of Carly just hanging out but none that document what we are up to (well I guess we do a lot of just hanging out and not too much else). Here are some randoms from the last couple of weeks. Carly was just hanging out watching football with Uncle Chad one minute. And sound asleep in his arms the next. We met my cousins Dawn and Beth for lunch one day and got some cute pictures! New outfit from Grandma.

Sunday, December 16, 2012. I was getting ready the other day to go out shopping for Christmas gifts. I came downstairs to find Carly and Cody looking through some of the ads making a Christmas list. It was so cute! I showed it to the sales guy and he says, "What is he hunting for? Again, smart me says, "Ducks and Geese," very confidently. He kind of smirks and says, "Well not with this gun. It is a rifle. Would he be wanting to deer hunt? Needless to say Cody is getting coal in his stocking.

Chad, Alecia, Lauren, Evan, and Scarlet. Friday, August 7, 2015. We've had a really busy summer (who hasn't? So we haven't spent as much time at the lakes as we'd like. We did get to go to the Ozarks for Memorial Day, and Okoboji for the 4th, though, so we are getting some. One thing I love about the lakes is that once you get there, it is a weekend full of quality time together as a family. I sure miss seeing this sweet pea in Omaha. His ability to deal with disappointment will take him far. Your own personal bathroom and waitress goes a LONG way at a country concert! The concert didn't start until 11:30 PM, so it was a late night for me, but so worth it. It didn't stop us from a marathon day at the new Eagan outlets Christmas shopping the next day, lol! Chad, Alecia, Lauren, Evan, and Scarlet. Saturday, August 23, 2014. 1st Day of Kindergarten. Well, the first day of kindergarten was a success. Lauren did awesome. I was so proud of her. Mom and Dad did pretty well too. The only bummer of the day was the nasty thunderstorm we had. Between the storm and getting up so early (the bell rings at 7:45!
