Sunday, May 29, 2011. I rush. I mean it! I run headlong and fast into everything! So then you forget about it and move on. I kinda think about rushing into new things the same way. But life isn't like ripping off a band aid and sometimes we have to wait. To let the wound heal slowly, or take our time in recuperation.so I find myself healing slowly. Waiting and recouping. But of course, we get to our destination and we quickly fill up our time with runs to the grocery store, pharmacy, touring the area, shopping for trinkets we don't need or really want, and endless discussions of what our options are for entertainment. But what about just being quiet? What about listening without speech? But I can't. My need for coffee is greater than my need for quiet. Do I even need to?

And I've debated over this for quite sometime, but rather than attempt to catch you up, I'll just start with this:. Just as in the parable of the prodigal son, I was a prodigal daughter. God brought me home. He first brought me home physically, He brought me home mentally, and then he brought me home emotionally and spiritually.
