Speak your truth quietly and clearly | For the love of life.

For the love of life. Speak your truth quietly and clearly. August 14, 2014. August 15, 2014. Ah, my very first blog post. I’ve typed, backspaced, typed again, inserted words, and then deleted the entire thing again but I think I have my thoughts in order enough to type a somewhat logical, comprehensible, borderline intriguing first blog. Your first one should be something you feel strongly about right? Do you forgive them, do you let them back into your life, is it worth staying angry forever? Maybe you...

For the love of life. August 19, 2014. August 19, 2014. Just a bit of foreshadowing; This isn’t as sweet, charming and whimsical as I prefer my writings to be but it’s on my mind so here it goes. We’ve all been in the grocery store, pharmacy, coffee shop and the person cashing us out is likely the last thing on our minds. We’re thinking “where did I park my car? 8221;, “Sh* I forgot milk, no way am I waiting in line again”, or even “what’s on tv tonight? Horton Hears a Who – Dr. Seuss.

For the love of life. May 24, 2015. May 24, 2015. Today, and not even the whole thing, is guaranteed. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is never promised. We know to live for today. We hear it every single day. Be present , they say, deep breaths . Do we listen? And if not, what is? What makes us burn, love, feel, live? It was a night of celebration, our family just expanded by one and then some and what a cause for celebration that is. 8220;I am, because we are.”. Dawdling in Pharm land.

Life as Elizabeth B.: October 2014
http://lifeaselizabethb.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Yarn Along washcloths at work and a wedding. This past weekend my two daughters and I attended a wedding of my oldest daughter's very first friend she made when she changed high schools as a sophomore, 10 years ago. Okay, now down to business! I'm knitting at work (at lunch), in the car, at home, morning and evening. They are coming along nicely. I even have two volunteers to help me! Not spending a lot of time reading these days a page or two at night, but since the forecast...

Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Yarn Along - I'm Back. Being absent for 5 months, not a good thing when my goal last year was to be a more consistent blogger. Well, I'm back. I'll start with a quick update of our twin granddaughters. They are just as healthy and happy as can be! Willa left, Anna right) and we are truly blessed. Dishcloths. Recently I spent the weekend with my high school girlfriends and I gifted our hostess a bundle that included a woven. While watching Outlander, I noticed this shawl. Hi and ...

Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Yarn Along with another baby hat and an apron. Still plugging away on the Forever Baby Blanket - this is going to be a familiar statement for weeks to come I'm sure! Although cute, I struggled with the lighter weight yarn and small needles and didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped so I rewound the yarn and decided I'd revisit it another time. So, I picked up my favorite yarn, Cascade 220 Super Wash in Ivory, and cast on the Tegan Baby Hat. I've been reading God at the Kitc...

Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Yarn Along with Anna and Willa. This is a picture of them in their "going home" outfits. I'm so honored that their mom and dad chose outfits that I purchased AND wearing hats I knit for them. These are newborn sizes, so you can see how tiny they are at the moment. Since I've been so pre-occupied with many other things, I neglected to note what yarn I used. I do know that I used the Tegan Hat w/knot. Thanks for stopping by! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Friday, September 13, 2013. A Saturday in search of a dress. It's a beautiful Saturday in Maine in September, what better way to spend it? The Maine Mall in search of the perfect homecoming dress! Macy's was the first stop. Four teenagers with at least five dresses a piece in four different fitting rooms - what a mess! This is a picture of them waiting on my child to finish up - it was time to move on! For the record this never happens to me! After we made the hour-long journey home, the girls all had pl...

Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Yarn Along - A Baby Shower and a Watermelon Hat. Not made by me) Was that ever beautiful! We hated to cut into it, but it was just as delicious as it was beautiful, so well worth it! So now with the shower over and some time before Thanksgiving, I've started this watermelon hat. Oh and absolutely LOVE my new medium drawstring bag! For making such a wonderful product! Hope you are all well and keeping your creative hands busy with beautiful handmades. Friday, August 5, 2016. Review: The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson. Andie had it all planned out. When you are a politician’s daughter who’s pretty much raised yourself, you learn everything can be planned or spun, or both. Especially your future. Check (as long as we’re talking no more than three weeks). Because here’s the thing—if everything’s planned out, you can never find the unexpected. And where’s the fun in that?
