Thursday, December 2, 2010. Today's post should be "what's bakin'? They turned out picture perfect, I was pleasantly surprised. Something about having these for breakfast was Christmas-y, always a bonus. I will certainly be making them again and again, so delicious with apricot preserves. 2 1/2 C. whole milk (I used skim). 2 1/2 C. flour. 1 t coarse salt. 6 large eggs, lightly whisked. Note: If not serving immediately, poke a small hole in each to release steam. Reheat before serving. With Wood and Yarn.

Thursday, July 4, 2013. My Thoughts On Cooking: Past and Present. I remember this scene. From Spiderman 3 and thinking "Wow, cooking looks so fun." Laughing and dancing around in a light and spacious kitchen, and having all of the ingredients prepped. (So what if they're just making omelets? Go ahead, watch the clip. Case in point of ambitious recipes- popovers. Popovers used to frighten me, they always seemed so tricky.). I hope this cooking apathy is just a temporary thing. July 5, 2013 at 12:13 PM.

Since my departure I find myself occasionally pining away for delicious everything bagels. I recently came across a bagel post at the angry chicken. Which used this fabulous recipe. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. My whole life I've been, umm what do you call it.a pack rat. Yes, that is the correct term. Now I've never seen the show Hoarders, but I've heard enough about it and something about that show kind of resonates with me. I can understand how you can get to be that way. Growing up I was kind of like Templeton the rat, I used to squirrel away anything I deemed useful.chunks of wood, pieces of Styrofoam, rocks etc. and I kept them under my bed! Where's all the stuff on the floor?
