Monday, November 2, 2009. We went to Zions on a last minute weekender with kids. Kinda fun! Mike was so nervous when Bren and I inched up to the cliff that he had nightmares. Cute man. Photo notes: crank up the slider for "blacks" when you shoot in RAW to get nice definition in the rocks. Mike as Super Man. The picture was so over the top that I made the editing over the top too! Sunday, August 9, 2009. Another early morning. We rode a horse/hiked up an active volcano- something that would never be legal in the US! It was genuinely dangerous, but without question the most amazing thing I have seen with my own eyes. A 10 foot river of lava, flowing right past us. Holy crap! Monday, November 2, 2009. We went up the canyon for my first ever engagement photo shoot. I was surprised at how fun it was! They were good sports . . . "Okay, now I want you to climb up on the wall . . . ". I stole this pose from a photographer online. Thanks, whoever you are. This one's my fave. Looking through the outtakes, there wasn't a single bad shot of Michael. You can tell he has learned the art of making things look good on film. Im impressed. Mike looks just like his Dad. My lame-o myspace page.

Saturday, September 5, 2009. We went on a field trip Friday to the fountains at Gateway with Camille and her kids. Here's my hot and tired Jason escaping it all. We all took tennis lessons for a few months- thank you Ellie! I learned how to finally put top spin on the ball, and Bren and Jase could hit the ball back and forth maybe twice by our last lesson. So fun- I plan on starting up again in the spring. Bria's nickname is "Chubbers." Her thighs are like bread dough. I love to read your posts!
