The Corner Workshop: Turnings: Curvilear Bowls
http://thecornerworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/11/turnings-curvilear-bowls.html
Handmade in the corner of my basement. November 29, 2012. Having never turned a bowl or plate before, I decided to try a form of segmented bowl with splines intersecting in the bowl blank. The splines were all cut at a 45 degrees, one at a time. After each cut I glued a thin piece of opposing colored wood. Rinse. Repeat. Splines already glued in.
