Let's just preface this post by saying Easter left me EXHAUSTED, and more tired than I've been in.my life! I love Easter, and this year was fantastic.with wonderful weather and lots of family time. We started things off Friday, coloring eggs with the boys. I figured 5 dozed should suffice. They had a blast until about 3 dozen in, and then they were off with their light sabers. We spent some time up in Alpine that night, with the Warnick's and Brandon's families in town. Saturday morning, we were back it!

Tucker the 3 Year Old. And so, a little post dedicated to my second born. as he has just reached the ever crazy, ever unpredictable age of THREE. Oh, my Tuck man. He packs a tight punch this one. He's hot or he's cold, but either way. he does it all the way! This little turkey is as smart as they come. Nothing gets passed Tucker, especially anything with SUGAR in it! Tucker is used to playing second fiddle to Jack in the category of toys/costumes/crazy shenanigans. Tucker loves books, and can hardly wait...

Father's Day now comes right smack in the middle of craziness with Wave Runners, and although Brett spent the days and morning leading up to Father's Day working his little hiney off, we were still able to take a little time and celebrate the holiday. I really wish we could have done more, because Brett truly deserves the recognition. He is a better dad than I could have ever hoped. He brings fun and adventure into every situation, and provides our boys with such a fantastic example in everything he does.

I just felt like this should be remembered. So, one night recently. to humor Jack, we all got in our Star Wars duds and acted out Darth Vader's life from Annakin to the dark side. To the point that this photo maybe comes close to demonstrating. From our night of reenactment:. Thats my poor sap as the emporer. Holy hell. Other noteworthy transformations in our home as of late:. Grandma Jackie bought these Spiderman duds for the boys. And, Brett had a nice little photo shoot with Darth and Yoda one night.

Saturday, June 18, 2011. Colby played his first real year of baseball, and had a blast! He played for the Twins and made some good friends as well. He played third base, and has quite the arm! He even pitched in two games. He got better at batting each game and had some monster hits! He was the KING of stealing bases and sliding in at home. He got good at watching for strikes as well. He really learned allot about the game! I think this might be his sport. His very first trophy! Links to this post.

Scott and I took a day away from cancer and didn't think or talk about it AT ALL on July 7th so we could celebrate our FIFTH wedding anniversary. He booked a room at the Blue Boar Inn in Midway. We had a wonderful time! I love him more every day! After dinner we went back to our room and the bed was turned down. lights were low. romantic music was playing Ahhhh. I love his laugh!
