Tuesday, August 14, 2012. On Saturday morning, Brett announced we were going to McDonald's for breakfast! Snuggly decided he wanted to try some of Daddy's Pancakes. So we gave him a taste (without syrup! He had to think about this squishy food for a bit. Hmm it's a little squishy. He wasn't too excited about this, he had a few bites, then decidedly shook his head "NO" at more offerings. Oh well, I'm not totally crushed that he's not wild about McDonald pancakes! Saturday, August 18, 2012. A week or so ago, Gabe learned to pull himself up. With crawling he discovered how to get around. He also discovered the stairs. He then decided he should climb these stairs. oh dear. The baby gates arrived the next day. Sadly, Not 2 seconds after this video finished, Gabe decided he should climb down the stairs, head first into the floor. Thus ended the climbing of the stairs session :(. We ended up running into my old college advisor who is now in the HR department there and he made us VIP's for the day! This comes with BIG perks! We were able to do so many things we never get to do: Feed giraffes, ride horses, feed stingrays, ride rides and so much more. all for FREE! So we took full advantage and did as much as we could before the rain came (remember when it rained EVERYDAY? It was an awesome day!

May 26, 2013. I am the youngest of 6 kids and grew up in Red Wing, MN. There's a rather large age gap between me and my siblings, 22 years between me and the oldest, and 13 years between me and the youngest. This large age gap means I have a lot of nieces and nephews who are close in age to me. In fact, the oldest is only a year younger than Brett!
