The {not so} perfect nuthouse. A collection of {not so} perfect stories from our {not so} perfect life. Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Surviving Thanksgiving and the plague. My friend, Blair, recently posted this question in her blog:. How does the rest of the non-childrearing world celebrate Thanksgiving without sick kids? Oh, how I wish I could answer that. But the truth is. I do not know! I have no idea! The cold of all colds struck our house and it is still lingering! It just won't let go! But this med...

The {not so} perfect nuthouse. A collection of {not so} perfect stories from our {not so} perfect life. Monday, September 23, 2013. Time to take a sigh of relief. we have survived one of the busiest starts to a month EVER. I feel like I can breathe again. Recruitment is finished, Torie's married now and her wedding was beautiful, and my wonderful nephew had a mustache bash for his first birthday. Saturday, Lainey started dance and then we had a brunch date with her favorite boys, the Minetrees. The tantr...

Los Dos Daubertos: Plano, TX for June
http://downwiththedauberts.blogspot.com/2014/05/plano-tx-for-june.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Plano, TX for June. Here are some picture updates of things we've done in the past month and a half:. Went to a Ranger's game in the Chick-fil-A suite with our other IM friend's in the DFW area. Sweet Grayson is the son of our friends Steven and Chrissy. Carmen loves hanging out with him. Michael's good friend in the IM Program, Andrew, came to visit for a day. Carmen loved having him stay with us and for whatever reason renamed him "Devin." Devin is a great guy! We still visit t...

The Andrews Family: a miracle and mothering redemption
http://thoseandrews.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-miracle-and-mothering-redemption.html
Jackson * Mallory * Parks * Reese. Friday, January 11, 2013. A miracle and mothering redemption. Clearly I've lost my blogging fire. I'm not sure what the future of this blog holds, or maybe its fate is already sealed. But I have something on my heart and perhaps a means of bringing some closure to my little blog. I started this blog six years ago, as a 21 year old newly married young woman. No children yet but full of ideas, dreams, plans and plenty of opinions! God is so faithful and good. He has s...

from cville with love: on creating
http://fromcvillewithlove.blogspot.com/2013/03/on-creating.html
Monday, March 25, 2013. It's a funny thing, creating. It's a funnier thing creating when you have an adorable and very active six- toothed smile wiggling and crawling and climbing around at your feet. Apparently floating that smile above my head while I lay on my studio floor and listening to the giggles pour out does not a work hour make. Weird. But, I guess I've figured out that it doesn't really matter how. I do it. It just matters that. How and when do you create best? Any pointers for a new mama?

What If I Said...: October 2013
http://whatifisaidblog.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 8, 2013. To Love Or Not. There's so much I should be posting besides this. Three months off the map, and I should be coming back with photos, and stories of our summer and school days, new music listened to, new books read. And I will. Eventually. But tonight I just need to write. I just need to purge some of this ick that I've been letting build up. I've heard so many times "I love this person because I have to." "I'm trying hard to love so and so." Or, most often, "I want. I don't make...

What If I Said...: June 2013
http://whatifisaidblog.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 24, 2013. Activate 2013, Final Days: The Downshift. I've been home for about 36 hours now. While part of me is so tempted to just post "And then I came home, the end", I know I need to write it out just for the sake of closure. If not for your sake, definitely for mine. But surprisingly frequent panhandlers. Nashville was our next stop, to meet up with some of Missy's family, and a part of the trip I'd been looking forward to as a boon whenever I would get so weary I didn't think I could mak...
