Brett's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Blog & General Musings: September 2010

http://brettdaviscrm.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Bretts Microsoft Dynamics CRM Blog and General Musings. Tuesday, 21 September 2010. Internet Explorer 8 and broken menus in CRM 4.0. Please note, this issue is fixed un Update Rollup 9*. I noticed this one ages ago, but I've never really taken the time to sit down and work out what was going on. Now this is obviously less than idea. Functionality it doesnt make a big difference, but aesthetically it can be very annoying to users. and annoyed users are never fun to deal with! Posted by Brett Davis.

Brett's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Blog & General Musings: Dynamically changing the label of a field

http://brettdaviscrm.blogspot.com/2010/08/dynamically-changing-label-of-field.html

Bretts Microsoft Dynamics CRM Blog and General Musings. Thursday, 19 August 2010. Dynamically changing the label of a field. A question came up on the CRM forums and I thought I'd so a quick article on it. In order to change a fields label, we need to modify the fieldname. CinnerText property. Take for example the following example where we have 'Project Category' and 'Project Manager' attributes:. Now when I set my Project Category value, I get different names on the Owner attribute label. Keeping a hol...

Brett's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Blog & General Musings: August 2010

http://brettdaviscrm.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Bretts Microsoft Dynamics CRM Blog and General Musings. Saturday, 21 August 2010. Can I use a picklist/lookup as my primary attribute? In my experience it's safe to say that CRM's approach of always needing the primary attribute of a custom entity to be an nvarchar attribute unfortunately doesn't fit all business scenarios. There are a couple of ways of dealing with this, but I generally like to use JavaScript to plug the 'gap'. Create the new entity, schema name of new product. Now we just need some Jav...

Hi, my name is Brett Davis, and welcome to my site. I just graduated from the Academy of Art U. with a Bachelor of Fine Art, specializing in character animation. I first tried this by animating roadkill when I was little. That didn't work out so well, and my parents felt a better course of action was to hand me a pencil. It's never left my hand since. Seriously, they glued it there, makes life very awkward at times.

Sunday, May 10, 2009. On Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Emilee's senior portraits. A couple of months ago I was able to shoot Emilee's older sister's wedding. Emilee's shoot was a lot of fun and the weather was great! Here are some of the images from the shoot! Aimee and Tyler were married on March 28, 2009 in Katy, Texas. They are good friends of mine and I really enjoyed photographing the event! Here are some of the photos from the big day:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
