Assessing the build 7_25_07 | Silver Luce Brewery
https://silverlucebrewery.wordpress.com/assessing-the-build-7_25_07
Climate (and family and homebrewery) Best by Gov’t Test. Assessing the build 7 25 07. The time has come to begin to put this brewery together. It has been, up till now, a whole lot of parts that may or may not fit into the vision I have for this project. So now I’m mocking up with major parts in order to better assess the final product. One other thing you may see in that picture is the plugs that I’m planning on using to stop up the couplers at the top of the kegs that don’t fit into my desi...Grind/cle...

Climate (and family and homebrewery) Best by Gov’t Test. September 21, 2007. At 11:14 am by silverlucebrewery. As I mentioned before, the wife and I run the household like a gulag, which makes the little ones our own little forced laborers. And like any good prison, it’s important to provide the prisoners with proper prison clothing. Of course now that there’s a nip in the air we’ve issued the warm headgear:. Nothing takes the edge off a long, hot shift in the kitchen like a cool drink:. The pumps had an...
Bracio: Brew Beer: April 2012
http://blog.bracio.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
160; { bracio pōtō cervisia gaudeō. Thursday, 26 April 2012. Brewery Build #3: Keg Drilling. With the right tools, drilling plumbing-fitting holes in kegs is not so difficult, and in this case the right tools are quite simple; a drill capable of controlled sustained low speed (less than 300RPM) combined with a decent amount of torque, and a Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) Hole Saw of the appropriate size. The hole saw (mine was AUD$30 Keg King. A 20mm size hole saw is just a fraction too small for most...

MN Beer Club – Brewing | "The problem with the world is that everyone is a few drinks behind." – Humphrey Bogart
MN Beer Club – Brewing. The ups and downs of hop growing. June 20, 2014. While drinking Sierra Nevada Blindfold Black IPA. Actually, it kind of is. I am still a little disappointed in that out of the 6 rhizomes I purchased, 15 showed up, 15 were planted and now I have only had 5 total come up with 3 surviving. Oh well. It’s not exactly paradise by the dashboard light but it’s better than nothing. I’d do anything for loveof plants. Unfortunately, #3 and #5 are nowhere near what #1 is doing at this point:.
The Old Ferry Bridge Brewery
The Old Ferry Bridge Brewery. Please bear with me while I rebuild this site. For some reason, Mozilla renders the XSL transforms in the following pages correctly when they're local on my hard drive, but not up here on the web server. Disturbingly, IE displays them just fine. Probably about time I upgraded Mozilla. Hop Harvest Pale Ale.

Genius bordering on Madness. January 1, 2013. During our Halloween party, my friend Doug and I got to talking about doing another brew together. We tossed around the idea of pursuing an Eis-IIPA (which would be a freeze concentrated Imperial IPA). It’s a little off the wall, but what the hell it could work! That being said, we decided to brew a full […]. September 3, 2012. December 22, 2011. Wee Heavy #3 – Sheep Dreams Laddie. December 12, 2011. Brown Porter #1 – Buccaneer Porter. Beer at it’s Best. Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. April 16, 2016. I found this recipe in the book “Clone Brews” by Tess and Mark Szamatulski. Lots of hops! I replaced Warrior hops with Columbus as Warrior seem very difficult to come by. It involves dry hopping which I found works incredibly well with the Punk IPA. OG -FG)/7.46 =. Sunday, March 8, 2009. Exporting American Beer Internationally. As the number of small breweries in America and the American population's taste for varying beer styles continues to grow, foreign breweries have become more and more involved in American beer commerce. Of course, giants like Guinness and Heineken have been a mainstay here for decades, but lately more and more small breweries from Belgium, Germany and even Japan have been introduced and well received in the American brewing scene. First, a f...
