Grow where you're planted. Friday, March 19, 2010. My recent focus has been the loss of my Grandma Erma. Lately I've been pretty introspective about her and this change for our family. This is the first big death for us. And really, it isn't tragic at all. She lived a long, wonderful life, and we're glad to see her finally at rest. I braved the 90 degree heat at 9 am and went for a run, or (if I'm being honest) a jog/walk. It has been so long since I have gone jogging that I forgot how much I love it (even when it is beyon hot outside)! Today I signed up for the Surf City Half Marathon.
