Saturday, January 28, 2012. As December turned to January, all I could think of was keeping you inside until after my last two concerts at school were finished. Then when our Dr. was concerned that I had too much amniotic fluid and rattled off all the scary possibilities of what polyhydramnios could cause with the most minor being an early delivery, I was happy with the idea of an early delivery if it meant keeping you safe. Thursday, January 12, 2012. We'll see about that. Here's baby 2 at 37 weeks.

Saturday, September 17, 2011. Quinn is a digger man. He has become quite sophisticated. He'll correct you if you say digger and remind you that it's an excavator, crane, dump truck, backhoe loader, etc. He'll tell you their specific jobs. So because of this love of large vehicles, we ventured off to Quarry Quest. Not only were their diggers, but he got to take his first ride on a school bus from the parking area down into the deep belly of a quarry. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Introducing Baby Meyers #2.

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Work in progress part 2. After a month of sitting on the potty.still no pee. A trip to Kohls for some motivation.Sesame Street and Cars underware. This was the first day that Quinn tried them and his first time meeting "Light Me Da Quee." also known as Lightning McQueen. This sparked the mantra of big boy underwear. Thursday, January 17, 2013. My daughter doesn't sleep. She never has. The first three months of her life, she slept like a dream. So much so, that the pediatrician had us waking her to feed her. Then came month 4, and she became the world's worst sleeper. Hard to put down, early to rise, short napper, wakes at the slightest noise. Karma, I guess. Since August she has had her big girl bed, and despite my $50 investment on a toddler arm clock, she continually gets out of her bed in the night.

Thursday, January 17, 2013. This morning I was awakened by a little girl standing at the side of my bed yelling, MOM! That will startle you awake. She was holding at least. 5 dolls in her arms. She offered Baby LuLu to me to snuggle and climbed into my bed with me. She then pronounce that she would never put any of her dolls away "when she was a grown up." That she would "keep them out for her baby sister and baby brother to use." I reminded her that she doesn't have a brother or sister right now.
