The Welchs, As of Late. Monday, June 29, 2015. Camping and other Outdoor Adventures. On Friday afternoon the Maddens, Welchs, and Grusecks loaded up our crews for some camping at Carter Lake. We ran into some spacing issues as some of us have obnoxiously large tents. Elliot took it all in stride. I, on the other hand, was pouting and acting ridiculous. The Welchs, As of Late. Sunday, May 11, 2014. Goodbye Plum Tree, Hello Crabapple. Last week we said goodbye to the plum tree in our front lawn. The tree had been damaged a couple years ago in a late snow fall and looked really sad. We replaced the plum with a Royal Raindrops Crabapple tree. While in Napa we visited 3 wineries and enjoyed Miner winery the best. The wine scene is a bit different than the CO beer scene, but we adapted easily.
