Monday, October 27, 2008. Today is Kyler's first Birthday we are so excited to have Kyler in our family and hope that he has a really good day! He had his Birthday. Party with his family yesterday where he was able to eat his cake. At first he did not know what to think it took a little persuading from Dad but in the end he really enjoyed his cake. Tuesday, January 3, 2012. The Building of the Shelton Home. Finally.this summer we started the building of our new house. At the end of September it was completed and we were able to move in. We love our new area and our neighbors and are glad to be here finally. Here are some of our pictures that we took during our building process. Lot before we built on it. Kyler with his Uncle Greg helping dig the hole for our house. Karissa did not anything to do with the tractor. Rob helping Greg dig the hole.

Monday, July 6, 2009. We just got home yesterday from our vacation to California, Rob had to drag me kicking and screaming back onto the airplane. We had loads of fun playing in the water and the sand at Balboa Island. I love to shop at the little shops in Balboa of course spending enough money but always wishing I would have got more. :). Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Last night we gave our first attempt at feeding Kolton rice cereal. He wasn't too fond of it and most of what we tried to put in his mouth ended up elsewhere, but we know it will take time! I'm hoping once he gets the hang of eating it, he will sleep better at night. Kolton turned 4 months a week ago and had his check-up yesterday. Here is an update on his growth:. Weight: 15 pounds 2 ounces (50th percentile). Height: 25 inches (50th percentile). Screams/yells while doing this.

Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Yes, Kolton has started figuring out how to walk. Where has the time gone? Here's a quick video of him walking:. Like Father, Like Son. Kolton LOVES his dada. He gets SO excited when Ryan comes home, saying "dada" over and over again. It's so fun to watch him light up when Ryan walks through the door.
