Sunday, March 17, 2013. Whenever we make the trip up to neighboring Grand Rapids we try and visit Meijer's Gardens. To explore their art and botanical exhibits and many children's displays. These photos were taken late fall of last year. Tom Otterness's "Mad Mom" sculpture is a favorite art exhibit of the children's. Quincy thought the ginormous Tree house was terrific. I wish they had these when I was a kid. Rivers just looks like a xylophone playing musician. Those blondie, blue-eyed heart breakers!

Monday, August 17, 2009. Hard to Let Go! The kids started school today. Its hard to believe that all three of them are in school now and I no longer have little ones at home. It was hard letting Kella go, but she was so excited! She told me last night that she can't believe that she is going to a real school to learn really important things! Wednesday, June 23, 2010. This day we kayaked to " Secret Falls". We kayaked several miles down the river and took about a mile hike to the falls, which is no longer a secret! After lunch, we went on another hike to Kipu Falls. The boys took their first jump off the 20 foot falls (we know its that tall because some guy was measuring it). I refused to watch but they did it and loved it! I was nervous about taking the kids, but they had so much fun and we made some great memories! June 29, 2010 at 1:01 PM.
