Rowan had his first encounter with bananas over the weekend, and it was not love at first sight. The first time he spit out nearly ever slimy bite, in addition to making some pretty awful faces and trying to gag himself. Well, fake-gag. That's a new trick he learned in the last week (that would be the face in the lower right). Thankfully, he wasn't successful! What a difference consistency makes!

Brian and Whitney (& Rowan). Mom, Dad, and Rowan Coleman.we couldn't be happier! Wednesday, June 20, 2012. I love my days off! I sure wouldn't mind staying home everyday with this little cutie. Not crawling, but we're getting close. He, for the first time today, got on all 4s and stayed there for 30-plus seconds today. For not being mobile he can really move around. Eats 5 bottles and 2 solids per day. Wakes at 7:30; Bedtime 8:30 - sleeps through the night and has since 4.5 months! Links to this post.

Since I was using it for shoes, there was alot of vertical space not being utilized. My shoe collection has grown over the last year and there just wasn't room for everything (and I was not going to get rid of any shoes). So a couple of weekends ago I decided it was time to create more space.

Monday, September 16, 2013. I got this recipe from a close friend and adapted it to make it a bit healthier by using turkey instead of ground beef. I also used store bought BBQ sauce instead of making it from scratch. (It is more appetizing than the picture, I promise.). 3 lbs ground turkey. 1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk. 1 1/2 tsp salt. Friday, June 29, 2012. I'm from Kansas and I know it! Have you seen this video that has gone viral? It was posted 3 days ago and is at 2 million views. Holy moly that is a lot! The Peterson Brothers who are from Kansas wrote, sang and recorded a farming version of "Sexy and I Know It" by LMFAO. They are currently in New York to make an appearance on Fox and Friends.
