Capturing the Human Experience to Change Human Existance. My name is Brian Baker. I am a Utah poet and composer. I attended George Wythe University for a year and am now attending LDS Business College. I served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Oklahoma. I do crazy stuff like unicycling, taekwondo, hiking, ultimate frisbee, and….writing poetry. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Catching Butterflies | brianbakerwrites
https://brianbakerwrites.wordpress.com/2012/06/19/catching-butterflies
Capturing the Human Experience to Change Human Existance. June 19, 2012 / brianbakerwrites. For the right word. To catch on paper. A color, sound, or mood. Like an elusive butterfly. The burning halos of clouds. When the clouds seem. To emit their own light. Drifting through my window. The clean, living scent is. Too delicate to define;. A word would crush it. The person in the audience. Brave enough to start. It takes courage to be right. For the crowd’s support. Poetry is my butterfly net,.

Waltzing with Whitman: The Musings of Anthony D. You’re at the best WordPress.com site ever. In dawn of daylight’s dream. We played amidst the gleam. Of that bright winter morning. And eyes that laughed a thousand ages louder. Then what was seen in such a tiny frame. Laughing, gliding, falling. Then lifting up with love. And hands with healing balm. To soothe the backs of beauty. And thus the burdens bear. Then quietly we sat. When azure lightning skies. Pierced deep into my heart. And with admiring gaze.

I photograph the environments where I have lived and travelled, reacting spontaneously to what I see around me. I am inspired by the rich history of street photography and I am influenced by architecture, interior design and collage. I use screenprinting and instant film transfer to reduce detail and create a new aesthetic. Brian Baker Studio 2013. Site by Make Digital.

brianbakerwrites | Capturing the Human Experience to Change Human Existance
Capturing the Human Experience to Change Human Existance. October 1, 2015 / brianbakerwrites. More than any other child, Caleb’s bicycle tires always seems to go flat. I would patch an inner tube one hour and have it be flat the next. Those awful three-pronged goat-head stickers were his bane. Caleb was too young to patch his own inner tubes, so he was constantly asking me to do so. Dad, he would ask, can you fix my bike? August 31, 2012 / brianbakerwrites. The sky in Oklahoma is huge! Where is John Galt? Sunday, November 20, 2011. True story…no kidding at all. The princesses, now aged 6 and 8, are playing soccer this season. The younger girl plays at 6 and the older girl follows with a 7pm game. The season started in August, with us sweltering in a melting central Florida hellscape and stretched into late October, bringing jackets and quilts to the sidelines so parents could survive the Nordic, 65 degree wastes of suburbia. 8221; He shook his hand and something wet kissed my forehead.
