June 28, 2011 — Melinda. Right before the end of exams Brian was offered a part-time job with an agreement that he would retire at the end of next year. As far as I can tell, Kleinman offered the minimum possible to get the students to stand down. The petition for Brian’s reinstatement currently has 529 signatures, and it’s been submitted to the Deans four times now, each time with about a hundred additional signatures from students, alumni, and staff. A Letter From Brian. July 27, 2011 — Melinda. I’d like to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who has stepped forward to offer support on my behalf. My family and I were absolutely devastated when were received news of my termination. No one saw it coming. Future job prospects did not look promising and we were sure to lose our home which I have been working on for years. It was absolutely heartbreaking! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all.
