My first degree is in Fine Art while my Masters degree encompassed new media and film. I have taught Fine Art, Photography and Video in colleges and universities since the early 1980's. My present work centres on a hill in North Yorkshire, Roseberry Topping and adjacent, St Oswald's Well. a long disused Holy Well at the bottom of the hill. The work featured on the web site are for sale.

When I write and produce a piece, I think of it like putting together a puzzle - a puzzle that doesn’t have one correct answer, but you can always tell when the pieces really fit together (and when they don’t). I take great joy in finding the correct words, phrasing, and rhythm that keep a piece moving and an audience engaged.
