Tag Archives: computer programming. Callum got a Raspberry Pi. Late last year (just before Christmas – I’m not sure if Santa would have been tech savvy enough to get him one of those). So far it’s been a lot of fun to play with. Computer programming for kids. With more difficult concepts tackled relatively early on (such as arrays, stacks, queues, and memory management). The other is for young children. One course that Callum enjoyed was a course offered by Youth Digital. Called Mod Design 1. Course, whi...

My father got himself a new DSLR camera just before his cruise along the scenic rivers of Germany and the Netherlands with my mother (they’re over there now). As a result, he gave me his old Nikon DSLR, including a telephoto lens, for which I am very grateful. Let the fun begin! A green dragonfly on a plant stem. A blue dragonfly in the marsh. A dragonfly on a tree root. You can see a little ant crawling along the root in front of him. A Little Blue Heron in the reeds. 25 Jun, 2014. 4 × two =.
Nahtazu | Brian Crawford

Today I took my camera to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I should mention that I put on the most touristy clothes I could muster – my Hawaiianest shirt (which is admittedly not very Hawaiian looking – I’ll need to find a better one), a straw fedora, button-up cargo shorts with more pockets than I’ll ever need, and of course, dark socks with running shoes. Bam! A young giraffe, taken from my seat on the Kilimanjaro Safaris truck. An elephant, taken from the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride. 02 Jul, 2014.

Greater Than and Less Than. Mia the Math Magician. Four Reasons Why Interactive Math Notebooks are Beneficial for Older Students. Posted in Classroom Resources. On August 2, 2016. Interactive notebooks have been the rage for the last few years, mainly for younger grades. I think they are actually beneficial for students from Kinder through 12th grade and here are my reasons. 4 – Older students are still kids and like to have fun. Who likes to do boring worksheets? Interactive Math Notebook for 6th grade.

Tony Crawford: December 2007
http://tonycrawford.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Christmas Day, 2007. Lori and I had a most enjoyable Christmas Day dinner with Colin, Lynda, Martin and Alison at the Waring House Inn, (which also has a winery and Cookery school). The Inn is located near Picton, just south of Belleville, about 3 hours from our cottage. After dinner, Colin, Martin and Lori played their guitars and gave us a most enjoyable concert of Christmas and folk music. Monday, December 10, 2007. 5 Days to Go. I also am in discussions with an ex collea...
Tony Crawford: January 2008
http://tonycrawford.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 2, 2008. We have arrived in Ellenton, Florida. We finally made it to Ellenton, Florida (which is near Bradenton, and south of Tampa), after our nice visit with Linda (and Caitlin). Traffic was very bad in Georgia - a 70 minute trip took us over 5 hours. We had some major issues with the place that we were originally booked in to, but our agent moved us to another unit which we are very happy with. Will post more photos when I get connected. Tony Crawford: Mia's Birthday
http://tonycrawford.blogspot.com/2008/07/mias-birthday.html
Thursday, July 10, 2008. Mia turned 3 yesterday, and enjoyed her birthday party with her Auntie Angie, her grandparents and her cousins. She was a great help to her Mum by baking her birthday cake. She had lots of presents, including Princess shoes which she wears all the time, a tiara, a Dora doll and a Dora bike. Callum helped her to open her presents . . . And Lachlan joined in on all the action and excitement. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Project Management website. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Our Visit to Charleston. Lori and I just arrived back yesterday from our week's visit to Charleston. The highlight of our visit was seeing Caitlin starting to walk. Within a few days she had given up crawling in favour of walking. If there was no table to help her get into a standing position, she would use the nearest wall to get up. I had a chance to try out my new telephoto lens. She likes her gourmet meals . . . And was very pleased with her Easter dress.

Wednesday, July 2, 2008. San Antonio Childrens Museum. Callum and Mia have been very well behaved and a lot of fun. Today we all went to the Children's Museum downtown, and as you can see from these pictures, they really enjoyed their visit. We are all looking forward to seeing Yvonne back home safely with baby Lachlan on Sunday. It looks like you are all having tons of fun. I can't wait to see you all again! July 3, 2008 at 4:09 PM. Tony Crawford: Back in Canada
http://tonycrawford.blogspot.com/2008/05/back-in-canada.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2008. However, we arrived in Charleston on Saturday May 10, in time for Lori to go out for her much enjoyed Mother's Day tea with Linda and Brian. It was good to see Brian, Linda, Steve and Caitlin again. Such a sweet face on that baby! You would never know how mischievous she really is by that innocent looking face! It was great to see you guys again in Charleston and I loved my mother's day tea with Bri and Mom! May 27, 2008 at 9:47 AM. Callum and Mia can't wait for your return!
Tony Crawford: Our visit to San Antonio
http://tonycrawford.blogspot.com/2008/05/our-visit-to-san-antonio.html
Saturday, May 3, 2008. Our visit to San Antonio. We had a great few days in San Antonio this week, seeing Callum, Mia and Yvonne again. Has it reallly been a year since we were all together in Canada? Yvonne bought a book for Mia that played Disney music, and both Callum and Mia were enthralled with the book and music. Yvonne took us to the Botanical Garden. It was beautiful, especially the Japanese garden pictured above. We had initially planned to drive back to Canada today, but are staying another wee...

Brian Cranwell: My Book
Thinking about children and bereavement. You have made a valuable contribution to the understanding of the problems of bereaved children. This book is a must for all who have contact with children parents, teachers, those in social services and all who need reassurance on the resilience of children who, yes, have many ways of coping but what they all want from their grownups is honesty, openness, involvement and love.
