What's on Brian's brain. Random thoughts from a Christian, Husband, Father, Banker, Sportsnut and … author? Lessons learned from planting a church. So much for posting every week, right? Many of you that read this blog regularly (can I really say that if I have had a post in more than 3 months? Maybe so, but longevity was never a part of that deal and I can sit here today and look back and see how much God was able to accomplish through a small group of committed believers. May 15, 2010.

What's on Brian's brain. Random thoughts from a Christian, Husband, Father, Banker, Sportsnut and … author? Why do bad things happen to good people? This is a question we all struggle with and I’ve had that question posed to me several times in the last 2 weeks. We’re updated daily with the tragedy of the earthquake in Haiti and the increasing number of lives lost and innocent people seriously injured. But why do terrible things like this happen? 8221; I try to seek the answer in the Bible. Enter your em...

Michael's Blog: September 2009
http://peacecc.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. Note to a Friend Turning 30. I'm always reminded of just how short life is and how real death is. In fact, tomorrow morning I'll be attending the funeral of a 31 year-old young man, a baseball teammate of mine from Goodlettsville. Sobering to think that his life (on earth) is over. Man, how time flies. Just 10 years ago, we spent the summer singing together in different churches. 10 years later, we’re husbands and fathers, each of us with two boys! Tuesday, September 15, 2009.

Home - Brian Lister Fine Art
Brian Lister Fine Art. Born and raised in Northern New York, in the heart of the Thousand Islands, close to the Adirondack Mountain region. Full of endless lakes and rivers, there are plenty of beautiful landscapes and sunsets to paint. I started to get serious about art in the 6th grade after reading a book on Michelangelo. In 7th grade I met my art teacher and life long friend who still stops by several times a year to see what I'm working on. And e-mail or call. Any reasonable hour.

Eat. Drink. Run. Repeat.
Eat Drink. Run. Repeat. How Did I End Up Here? November 9, 2017. November 10, 2017. I know my situation must be desperate. An advertisement for a self-help book popped up in my Facebook feed. “Even a damn behavior-based social media algorithm knows I’m depressed. How depressing,” I thought. Then I tapped on the ad, which took me to the iBooks store on my phone where I bought a digital copy of the book. By the way, I am 41. See, OLD. So, yes. It (being my current state of mind) is bad. And sometimes I thi...
What's on Brian's brain
What's on Brian's brain. Random thoughts from a Christian, Husband, Father, Banker, Sportsnut and … author? It’s the (second) most wonderful time of the year. I, like many people, love spring. I love the cool mornings, the nice afternoons, the trees and flowers blooming and I can deal with the allergies. But what’s better than the changing of the season is the 11 days that will pass in the world of sports that began yesterday and will run through next Sunday. So what’s your favorite time of year? After a...

Exactly one year ago today, I finally found it. One year ago exactly today, we found out our little Oliver existed. 4 tests later we were left dazed and amazed and anxiously awaiting his sweet little face. It was a super duper.
