Keepin it reals with the McNeils. Saturday, March 28, 2015. We got up a close look at one of the most active volcanoes on this island. Entering a lava tube, a place formed by flowing lava that cooled around the edges forming a cave. You can find a better description if you google it. Down at the end of the park is the ocean. Warning: LOTS of pictures of Madeline here. Madeline's 12 month pictures at home. To my Family, I think you can click on the picture to save it to your computer. Day 2 of trying to take pictures. The sun interfered a bit. Madeline was much happier. Oh my gosh, I want to keep her this age. Can you see those beautiful blue eyes?

Keepin it reals with the McNeils. Saturday, April 18, 2015. I read about this wonderful valley, Pololu Valley near Hawi where you can hike down to a beautiful black sand beach. Naturally I HAD to go there. It was perfect weather. The hike was nice.not too strenuous or dangerous. The beach was amazing and very few people were down there. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Our first stop was Houston to visit the Holmes family. We became friends with the Holmes before we had kids in the Young Marrieds group at Westover. Since becoming friends, they have moved to Arlington, and now have settled in the Houston area. Despite the distance, we try to see them once a year, and now we each have two boys, plus they are expecting a 3rd! It's fun to visit and watch our families grow together. Luke definitely loved playing with new toys. Here's Jake with Zane.

Thursday, July 30, 2015. We recently discovered an indoor play place called Mt. Playmore. The kids LOVE it. When Papa and Granmama were in town, they treated us to a day at Mt. Playmore, and the boys had a blast! The main attraction is a huge climbing area you can see in the background of these pics. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. The t-ball league Jake plays in held a mid-season tournament a few weekends ago. The Red Sox played 2 games on Saturday, and won 2 games. On Sunday's games, winners continued, and the other team was out. The Red Sox kept their winning streak alive, and played 3 games to ultimately win the championship game!
