None of the property boundaries are clearly marked- much to my land surveying husband's dismay- and three of the four properties front different streets, meaning 3 different neighborhoods are represented. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Tuesday Musing - FOMO. This past weekend I learned of yet another debilitating disorder women tend to suffer from. The symptoms include anxiety and discontentment sometimes coupled with envy, covetousness, and loneliness. Children tend to suffer from it as well and it can, in certain kids, even lead to significant behavioral problems. FOMO is an acronym and stands for Fear Of Missing Out. You know what it’s like. Right? I fear missing a chance to speak. I fear missing out on sleep.

Monday, October 15, 2012. A Birthday and a Head Wound. Today the most independent child in the whole wide world turned 3. It was a bit anticlimactic since we celebrated 3 weeks ago. Really, Landon was quite confused every time someone told him happy birthday since he's been calling himself "bigger enough" since his party. Tuesday, September 18, 2012. My baby girl scored a goal! And I may have caused Stella to lose hearing from my screaming so loud! Seriously, after more than two years of dragging her to practice and games and trying to convince her to at least try her best, we had all but given up hope that she would enjoy playing sports. And I was [kind of] okay with that. But now that she has scored, oh man, oh man is she into soccer! On another note, what's the deal with parents not cheering for their kids anymore?
