Tuesday, August 25, 2009. A little catching up. We are back from our wonderful trip to the mighty west. I cannot tell you how much I miss the DRY mountain air. We have been back for a few week and have had sick kids, calling to do and talks to give, and playing with our friends from Ohio who were in town. On the 6th of July we traveled to Martin's Cove. about a 700 mile ride. so we could "trek" for 3 days to kind of 'feel' of the spirit of the saints who traveled along those trails with all their trials out in almost no-where to get to the Salt Lake Valley. Our ward group was about. Young men and young. Women, ma's and pa's,. The cooks and company leaders. It was a tremendous experience for us all. The sacredness of the area, the quiet beauty of those massive hills up there.

Wednesday, April 24, 2013. DIY to Personalize a Party. My daughter Skylr is having a princess party for her fifth birthday this May. This year we have decided to do a lot more DIY projects then years past, to save money, have more at the party and to have more fun! Friday, June 24, 2011. Getting Into Summer Gear! Just before it warmed up we took a ride up to Lucky Peak and saw a few Dams that are in the area. Skylr thought that the water was pretty cool and we all had lots of fun together. Once it did warm up, it REALLY warmed up, and we were able to go on a hike up to Jump Creek to see the waterfall for the first time s a family.
