http://themoneybeets.blogspot.com/2010/03/best-band-ever-2010-tournament.html
A procrastinating rock band that mostly plays ice hockey and slow-pitch softball, but definitely talks about music a lot. Monday, March 22, 2010. Best Band. Ever. 2010 Tournament. First step in the tournament this year will be to vote for bands or artists that should have made the bracket but have not. Those bands will take the play-in spots and then the tournament can begin. There will be two play-ins per era, which are (1) the 50s and 60s, (2) The 70s and 80s, (3) the 90s, and (4) 2000 and on. Theyre w...

A procrastinating rock band that mostly plays ice hockey and slow-pitch softball, but definitely talks about music a lot. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Monday, October 27, 2008. Annihilator vs. District 5. Some thoughts on the night:. I scored a goal off a perfect pass from Jon Ellis between Peter Humphreys' legs. Brian fought Alex Humphreys in a gloves-dropped match-up at center ice. Ethan was held scoreless though he did have a couple near misses and probably an assist or two. Thursday, October 23, 2008.

http://themoneybeets.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
A procrastinating rock band that mostly plays ice hockey and slow-pitch softball, but definitely talks about music a lot. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. I think a lot about goals. I have a lot of them and tend to function best when focused on them. I have many, many goals. I've accomplished many of them, big and small. College, marriage, someday children, etc. A few of my frivolous life goals:. Score a hat trick in a game. Earn the right to wear an Affliction T-shirt. Get a tattoo across my entire back.

The Money Beets: February 2009

A procrastinating rock band that mostly plays ice hockey and slow-pitch softball, but definitely talks about music a lot. Thursday, February 26, 2009. I'm not referring to our fourteen man shootout last night to win our hockey game against the Rhinos. I'm specifically referring to Ethan's shootout attempt. The beauty of this attempt comes from the fact that the goalie had to have experienced a full range of emotions when watching Ethan take his attempt. At first touch: confidence. Ethan stops skating: joy.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010. From Best to Worst. But this is all getting off-topic. This introduction was mean to serve as an excuse for fewer words typed, not more. Below is the half-hearted work that resulted from a text message to Kevin, to which he responded, "You should write a blog about that." So I did. And this is it:. If you ask any reasonable person born between 1977 and 1986 what the greatest album of this generation is, the answer will undoubtedly be. In the past year,. Also in the past year, Wee...

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. I love Power Rankings. For those of you who don't spend hours a week on si.com and espn.com, Power Rankings are subjective lists that "rank" professional sports teams, usually with a small anecdote to follow in order to justify the ranking of the commitee or individual. I love Power Rankings because they are succinct, to-the-point, and easy to consume (read) in just a few minutes. Perfect! Here are some Power Rankings for a cornocopia of miscellanious topics:. Would be number one...
