The Power of Failure. This is just a story about the last 3 years of my life. In the startup world you often read stories from famous and successful entrepreneurs about the virtue of failure - how they were only able to succeed because of their past failures. How failure was indeed, the best classroom for learning, and how their lives were shaped for the better by their many failures and disappointments. And yet I cannot help but appreciate my failures, even though I am still in the process of failing.

A lot of people have a misconception about life. That who you are, right now, is who you are right now. That you are like a living statue and whatever your current form, that’s you. The past may have formed your present, but you are who you are, right now. This is wrong. You are your life, across space and time. And your life is not right now. Right now is just a nanosecond, a fleeting moment in the song that is your life. So rock on. The show must go on. Entrepreneur. nyc. thoughts and nonsense.

You’re only ever really in trouble when there’s no fight left in you. And even then you might be okay if you have good friends. Blog comments powered by Disqus. Entrepreneur. nyc. thoughts and nonsense. Mdash; Tumblr themes.

On Health Care And Other Mysteries. Friday, March 4, 2011. Fixing America's Health Care Reimbursement System. First published 3/3/11 on Kaiser Health News. A tempest is brewing in physician circles over how doctors are paid. But calming it will require more than just the action of physicians. It will demand the attention and influence of businesses and patient advocates who, outside the health industrial complex, bear the brunt of the nations skyrocketing health care costs. Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
