DANCES WITH KLINGONS Blog. Learning to live life outside the “Institutions”. Following Where Others Have Gone Before. Child in the Picture. Or can even describe. Having boldly going outside of the Methodist/Secularist tradition that I grew up in and went to explore what it means to be wounded, to die to my ego and come out the other side of this death of myself to find a whole new life, I find that what I wanted to be God was NOT what THE Lord really is. At the same time so many facts that were once thou...

My Life Less Ordinary. About Me: Core Beliefs. About Me: Education and Interests. Wednesday, December 24, 2014. The Magnificat and the Manger: The Subversiveness of Christmas. He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; he has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich away empty." Luke 1 51-53 (NRSV). But it didn't seem right to do that. It's also quite possible tha...

Over kleine dingen en grote woorden. Woensdag 27 augustus 2014. Flarden van Greenbelt festival. From Greenbelt with love.

will |u| be a disciple? www.willubeadisciple.com: January 2011

Will u be a disciple? A weblog from Pastor Will Rice, Discipleship Pastor at University United Methodist Church in San Antonio, Texas. Thursday, January 27, 2011. Just the idea of getting petted, taking a little walk and throwing a Frisbee was celebrated everyday as a grand celebration. I learned years later, as I read the parable of the prodigal son that Bodhi was showing me a glimpse of the love of God and the celebration that occurs when we finally respond to God's calling to us.
