When the flowers are dead the seeds fall on the ground. the seeds get buried. they grow roots. and they grow a stem. and will grow some leaves. next they grow a bud. then the flowers stare to open up. Thursday, April 20, 2006. I KNOW ABOUT PRAYING MANTIDS. Babys mantids eat fruit flies and small crickets. Baby mantids do not have wings. They molt and grow wings. Adults eat moths and butterflies and beetles. Sometimes they eat hummingbirds, spiders and salamanders. The females eat males. Tuesday, April 04, 2006. I KNOW ABOUT INSECTS. Monday, April 03, 2006.
