Enjoying Motherhood One Moment At A Time. Family Friendly Places to Stay. Let’s Go Camping. Seattle Children’s Hospital: I Love It So Much I Could Marry It. 13 November, 2014. I've been absent from the blogging world for quite some time. It's quite shameful really. But hey, I was pregnant (and not pleasantly so) and I had my miracle baby. That's a story for another day, however. Why, you say? And in even better news, she told us that she has seen PLEVA burn out. I stared at her blankly. Oh, did you think...

Indoor Fun – BriAnne Huwe

Enjoying Motherhood One Moment At A Time. Family Friendly Places to Stay. Let’s Go Camping. Eleven Best Children’s Books. 7 March, 2014. I'm not a parenting expert. If I were, there wouldn't be fingernail polish on my daughter's bedroom wall . . . or a fitted sheet in my garbage can that was cut by scissors. You'd also probably be dazzled by my children's perfect manners and impeccably clean finger nails. What is this miracle, you say? By Caralyn Buehner. In seconds, Haylee was at my side, giggling a...

A Touch of Whimsy: Get Ready for the Longest Catch-up Post of Your Life! (But so totally worth it.)
http://kimsy86.blogspot.com/2015/08/get-ready-for-longest-catch-up-post-of_3.html
Get Ready for the Longest Catch-up Post of Your Life! But so totally worth it.). Well, it’s been about 8 months since I posted and since that was a catch up post for over a year ago, maybe that’s technically how long it’s been. A lot changes in a year. We went from this:. 3 months old on a trip to Mt Saint Helens. I forgot how bald she was. :). Some highlights from everything in between:. Grandma Walker with Olivia and Hampton. Grandma snuggles are the best. And Olivia thought Wendy was pretty great too.

Making It Up As We Go (Snapshots from Olivia’s first month of life.). Olivia’s first bath the day we brought her home from the hospital. Tiny enough to fit in the sink. Then we found out you’re not supposed to bathe the baby until the cord thing falls off. Whoops. Hooded towels are the most adorable! Olivia with Aunt Elizabeth and Aunt Rachel. Grandma Coatney and Olivia. First time in her swing! This is the look Grandma gets when she insists on taking your picture one too many times. We didn’t give...
A Touch of Whimsy: *National Parks Bucket List*
http://kimsy86.blogspot.com/p/national-parks-bucket-list.html
National Parks Bucket List*. Spencer and I went to two National Parks while on vacation with his family while we were dating. Shortly after we were married we went to another one together. It was while we were there that our Bucket List idea was born. We want to visit all 58 National Parks together. Gates of the Arctic National Park. Glacier Bay National Park. Kenai Fjords National Park. Kobuk Valley National Park. Lake Clark National Park. Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Grand Canyon National Park.

One of a Kind. Maybe at some point I’ll get around to mentioning the others, but this post here is about Melissa Meline because she moved and left me here and also it was her birthday recently and I’m nice like that. :). Guess who I sat by? Two guesses… Right! It was Melissa Meline! So it turned out it was her first Sunday too! Was that not okay to say? 8221; :) . But Melissa had to go and move down to Logan and though I know the people there will be blessed to have her, who’s going to have game ni...

The Life of A Young Adventurer (Olivia’s 2nd Month). Family Photo. :). Spending some time just chillin’ at Grandma and Grandpa Walker’s house. You know, keepin’ it real. Olivia really liked lying on the monster sack, which was really awesome before she became too wiggly for it to be safe. Another picture taken by Grandma. I think this was right after I changed a messy diaper on the table. My mother really appreciates my “unconventional” parenting choices. ;). Spencer had his first ever Fathers’ Day!
A Touch of Whimsy: September 2014
http://kimsy86.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Ode to Wen the Twin. 28 years ago today (also a Sunday incidentally) the most joyous moment in my parents lives occurred. See? They had dreams of what we’d one day grow to be. And we tried to live up to those dreams. (Don’t we all miss the days when bangs flowed seamlessly into female sideburns? This isn’t their story, though. (Even though I’m sure theirs would be an entertaining tale.). Only time would tell…. Mom and Dad were only going to have one more and then they got us. Mom jokes that I tagged ...
A Touch of Whimsy: December 2013
http://kimsy86.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
I did make some time for some crafty gifts this Christmas, so I thought I’d take a minute to. Share them with you. I had Bri’s name for Christmas and I wanted to do something for her kids that they would all be able to enjoy. What was the coolest thing as a kid? Building forts of course! I found {this tutorial}. AKA: genius idea #2. I kind of combined the two to make a hallway fort for perfect for those Huwe kids. I found the Abraham Lincoln quote and thought it made a nice addition to the middle, with t...

http://kimsy86.blogspot.com/p/heart-like-his-christianity-101.html
A Heart Like His*. 8220;An open heart isn't really as much a matter of time as it is a matter of being present, available, and open to whomever is in my physical space at any given moment.” p. 22. 8220;Open hearts create energy. Closed hearts deplete energy.” p. 23. 8220;An open heart looks outward. A closed heart looks inward.” p. 24. 8220;God’s love fills the immensity of space; therefore, there is no shortage of love in the universe, only in our willingness to do what is needed to feel it.&#...8220;Th...
A Touch of Whimsy: May 2013
http://kimsy86.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
AKA: Using pictures of cute children to up my blog readership. About a month ago, I was talking with my sisters-in-law about how everyone loves reading blogs with pictures of cute kids. I said, “I need one! Then I’ll have a lot more readers.” Beth said that it probably wasn’t a good enough reason to have a kid. (Killjoy. ;). Anna’s always watching Evan. She thinks he’s awesome. (She’s right.). I did Anna’s hair in pigtails. They were declared “cute! Poor Evan came down with something. He passed out r...

The Message of Christmas. Well, it’s Christmastime and I haven’t been feeling super “Christmassy”. With the shock of my grandma’s passing and all the stress of getting things ready for the funeral, I haven’t had much of a chance to reflect on anything really. And when I have stopped to think I’ve mostly been missing my grandma. Today this was on my facebook newsfeed:. This *Touch of Whimsy* brought to you by. 30 Day Blog Challenge- Day 15. A photo of somewhere you want to go*. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

BriAnne Huwe – Enjoying Motherhood One Moment At A Time
Enjoying Motherhood One Moment At A Time. Family Friendly Places to Stay. Let’s Go Camping. 31 March, 2017. The past several months have been an amazing journey for me. I've been navigating the unfamiliar waters of homeschooling and a new network marketing business. To say I've been stretched would be a gross understatement, but I'm not sure I have the words to describe it all either. Sometimes the brilliant lesson goes off just how I planned. And sometimes, others see the same value in my business o...

Monday, March 4, 2013. Major Changes for 2013. Secondly (and this is mostly a rule that I’ll be forcing myself to keep), edited images will be limited to the range stated in your session listing. Oftentimes I end up having requests for or simply end up editing WAY more images than are included in the session. While I enjoy what I do, editing takes a significant amount of time and I need to keep these limits enforced. Contact me by email at briannehuwephotography@gmail.com. Friday, March 16, 2012. This website is an autobiographical site. We had our own theatre, Kitwe Little Theatre, were a member of TAZ (Theatre Association of Zambia) and competed most years in the TAZ full length play competition.
