Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Happy birthday, Anne! We celebrated Anne's 1st birthday last week on November 16 th. We can't believe she's already a year old. Time seems to go by much more quickly with your second than it does with the first. But at the same time, our days in the NICU. With Anne seem like a lifetime ago. After eleven months with a healthy, happy baby in our home, the pain and heartache of one year ago have softened into tender memories.and feelings of deep gratitude. Genes in this one?

Monday, July 9, 2012. Our little Samuel Friedrich was discharged from the hospital on Friday, after spending two long weeks in special care. We are so happy he's home! The girls are especially excited and fascinated. Anne supervises every feeding and diaper change; she has been asking about him multiple times a day even before he came home. She would walk up to the front door and announce that she was going to the "hopidal" to see "baby broder.". Now that he has all the tubes and IVs out he is a happy boy.

Monday, September 26, 2011. A Change of Scenery. We spent a wonderful week recently visiting my brother Michael and his family in beautiful Harrisonburg, Virginia. We couldn't have spent our vacation more pleasantly or in better company! We spent our drive there and back wishfully thinking about moving there. Sunday, April 12, 2009. Easter was a little different this year! We had regional Conference. Josh and I went to the Springfield stake building with Mimi and Papa! It was GREAT, we got to see the Prophet on Easter! Afterward we went to Jennifer's house to see Josh's family! Then, Josh went to give his sister Janae a blessing at the hospital, Kinzley and I visited with grandma McBurnie, Aunt Jina, and Aunt Jennifer in the waiting room! But it was great none the less! Saturday, April 18, 2009. Grandma and Grandpa had their auction today and we all went out to get in on the action! I came home with lots of goodies. Daddy got the backhoe he wanted, and Mom got lots of stuff too! It started at 9am and ended at 2pm We were all so exhausted! Gma and Gpa made out really really nice! The house is oddly bare! Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Kinzley is too cool for school. and gets all the looks! I took her to the mall and couldn't even get any shopping done! People stopped me every where. "She is sooo cute! Honey look at that baby! My daughter told me I had to come over and look at your baby! Etc and I can't even tell you how many people asked "Where did you get that bow? It was almost scary! Sunday is the only day that Xander will take a nap since he usually stays up late playing Xbox with daddy and then we have church at 8am. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. For those of you who we don't see often, Kinzley has been doing a lot of growing! She is now crawling crazy fast and walking along anything she can hold onto! She says "MAMA", "DADA", and loves to say "NANA" while shaking her head no! She eats anything and everything including sharing pizza with daddy! She loves to dance (bounce) to music! Finally she loves to cuddle! She has never cuddled since day one :( until now! She loves kids especially Seiler! Posted by Danielle Gorham.
