Reflections of My Heart: Discharged!

http://heaf-reflectionsofmyheart.blogspot.com/2011/04/discharged.html

Thursday, April 7, 2011. So I rang up the hospital to check on my appointment that I had for yesterday to see if I had to see the midwives as well as the diabetes doctor, and I got told that my appointment had been cancelled! And that I had been discharged! Thanks for telling me.) So wow, the diabetes specialist doesn't need to see me at all now for the rest of the pregnancy unless my blood sugar readings go out of whack. Yippee! So I must be doing something right! Better update my bump pic! A First time...

Reflections of My Heart: January 2011

http://heaf-reflectionsofmyheart.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. 24 weeks and waiting for a baby to arrive! And no, not mine. She can happily stay put in there until term! My sister in law is in labour! She has been quite sick with meningitis this past week, and finally got the all clear yesterday! And today she is in early labour! Hopefully I will be an aunty again before too long :). And yes, I am 24 weeks today! Bubs kicks are getting a lot stronger, I even had a couple yesterday that I went "ooh! Monday, January 17, 2011. Even though we ...

Reflections of My Heart: February 2011

http://heaf-reflectionsofmyheart.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 24, 2011. Why hello GD, nice of you to join me. So, not the greatest result! But hopefully we can just control it with diet and not have to have any metformin tablets or insulin injections. FX. At least they got onto it now and we will have the best outcome for me and bubs. Aside from that, not a lot has been happening. I've been dealing with lots of baby clothes - so much in fact that they aren't all going to fit in her wardrobe and some will have to go in the spare room wardrobe!

http://heaf-reflectionsofmyheart.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 24, 2012. Long time, no post! WowI haven't posted on here in almost a year! Guess that's what happens when you have a full time person to look after lol. Holly is now 1! Her birthday was the weekend before last, and it also coincided with Mother's Day this year. We had a great day with her (after a disasterous morning trying to bake a cake that ended up only good for dessert). Went out to the inlaws for a roast lamb dinner, I baked an awesome cake (my best cake ever! View my complete profile.

Reflections of My Heart: April 2011

http://heaf-reflectionsofmyheart.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Head up, bum down. That's how bubs is lying at the moment. And has been for the past couple of weeks. Little monkey. at 37 weeks MOST babies are head down where they are supposed to be. But bubs is being contrary and she has her feet poking out my left side and her head hitting me under the ribs and giving me horrible heartburn! She wriggles like crazy when I do it, but doesn't flip! I think she's too comfy where she is lol. Might have to get up for a midnight breakfast haha)&#46...

Monday, August 23, 2010. Domestic goddess.thats me. Waves to my new followers and lurkers*. Another weekend down.Wasn't feeling that crash hot all weekend and (also due to the money situation) we decided to have a lazing around weekend at home. On Friday I had some chilli tuna that didn't really agree with me so wasn't feeling very good all afternoon. Saturday morning woke up and was feeling better so decided to go on a bit of a cleaning frenzy and tidied up the lounge and vacuumed (wow a miracle! Then a...

http://heaf-reflectionsofmyheart.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 5, 2011. Woohoo, last day of work today! Second attempt at ECV tomorrow, hopefully it goes well and the bubs turns around and heads south! Have been getting heaps of braxton hicks since last friday though so I don't think they will let me go quite as easily this time (not that they really did last week lol). But what will be will be. I'm in a slightly better headspace now about the caesar. so thats all good. Anyways just thought I would update. Oh and I had better post my bump pics.

Reflections of My Heart: July 2011

http://heaf-reflectionsofmyheart.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Sunday, July 17, 2011. Born 13th May 2011 at 9.21am by elective c-section (obviously the ECV didn't work lol). 65279; I'll post my birth story as I wrote it for an online forum I belong to. On the way down they made DH grab an incubator incase we needed it. Really started to feel real then. Then they made DH wait out in the hallway while they took me in to prep me for the surgery. Took ages! Major pressure and tugging! Then a feeling like my belly was deflating (like someone letting the air out of a bal...

Brian's Baseball Blog | Just another WordPress.com weblog

Brian’s Baseball Blog. Just another WordPress.com weblog. NL vs AL: Which league is better? July 9, 2008. No brainer, right? Eric Karabell said yesterday (7/7/08 ) on his podcast. That the AL was obviously the better league — I think he used the word “clobbered.”. This year’s interleague record was 149 for the AL, to 102 for the NL. That gives the Senior League a 0.396 winning percentage. Friends, that’s close to Washington territory. (*). Gee, that looks a little closer, doesn’t it? Here’s Adjuste...

Brian's Baseball Camp - About Us

Sunday, August 25, 2013. Note to Mom and Dad:. This is the 16th year of my summer baseball camp. I want to thank all the kids who attended last year. I had a great time and hope all the kids did too! My camp gives kids who like the game a chance to learn more. The very small groups permit personal instruction. There aren’t any big names or fancy equipment, but I do promise 100% effort to teach the fundamentals and the fine points of the game. Fun, Skill Development and Character Building.
