Thanksgiving in Vero Beach is a wonderful event for cruisers. With inexpensive moorings and being rafted up with like minded people, the community is strong. Hundreds of cruisers shared a terrific potluck Thanksgiving dinner. In Vero Beach, we were rafted with two other catamarans, "Valkyrie" and "Slow Mocean". Sunny and Blake on "Slow Mocean".

As it turns out, the parade organizer here was more than accomodating. He put the girls in with The Oriental History Museum group. The girls rode the 1 1/2 mile parade route by themselves (because they are big girls now). Their only request was "Mom and Dad, please get some candy for us.". Miakoda in the News. The girls pose with their new bikes before we depart Moorehead City, NC. Miakoda" travels up the ditch from Carolina Beach to Moorehead City and then on to Oriental.
